Lincoln Park is where our love for Chicago really began. With its tree-lined streets, beautiful architecture, incredible restaurants, and miles of lakefront trails, it’s one of those neighborhoods that feels both lively and inviting at the same time. We’ve spent years here — grabbing coffee, meeting friends for dinner, wandering the park — and it will always be a special part of our story, and maybe yours, too.
Lincoln Park is one of those neighborhoods that made us fall in love with Chicago in the first place. It sits right along the lake on the North Side — close enough to downtown that you still feel the city energy, but with tree-lined streets, charming architecture, and the kind of local spots you just keep going back to.
We’ve spent so much time here over the years. Saturday mornings wandering through the park with coffee, afternoons at the zoo, evenings on patios along Halsted or Armitage — it’s the kind of place that becomes part of your routine without you even realizing it. We still joke about the number of “quick lunches” that turned into long conversations at Gemini or Café Ba-Ba-Reeba.
The lakefront is such a huge part of the neighborhood too. North Avenue Beach, the trails, the gardens, the Conservatory — there’s always somewhere beautiful to go. And with DePaul University nearby and lots of schools throughout the area, there’s always activity and life around you.
We also love the variety of homes in Lincoln Park. You’ll see everything from historic greystones to modern condos and townhomes, and walking the streets honestly feels like a mini architecture tour. It’s one of those neighborhoods where you catch yourself saying, “Oh, I love that one,” every other block.
To us, the vibe is polished but relaxed. Lively, but still totally livable. There’s always great food, shopping, parks, and something to do — but it still feels like a real neighborhood where people know the barista at their favorite café.
We love Lincoln Park because it represents such a big part of our story — and because it captures so much of what makes Chicago special. It’s beautiful, welcoming, full of character, and truly unforgettable.
