Winnetka is our home, and we absolutely love it here. With beautiful homes, lakefront access, charming shops, and a strong sense of community, it’s one of the North Shore’s most special places to live.
Winnetka is home for us - and we truly love it here. It’s one of those North Shore towns that feels timeless in the best way. Tree-lined streets, beautiful architecture, charming local shops, and quiet stretches of Lake Michigan all come together to create a place that feels calm, connected, and genuinely welcoming.
What we love most is the rhythm of everyday life here. Mornings at neighborhood coffee spots, kids riding bikes to the park, summer days at Tower Road Beach or Elder Lane Beach, and community events that bring everyone together - Winnetka has a way of making ordinary days feel special. The village center is full of great shops and restaurants, and there’s always something happening, whether it’s a local gathering or seasonal celebration.
The homes here are stunning. From historic architecture with incredible craftsmanship to thoughtfully designed newer builds, there’s a sense of character and charm throughout the village. We still find ourselves admiring different homes and streets every time we’re out walking or driving around.
Schools, parks, and recreation are an important part of life here too, and the emphasis on community really shows. With lakefront access, trails, and beautiful green spaces, it’s easy to enjoy the outdoors year-round.
For us, Winnetka represents everything we love about the North Shore - beauty, connection, and a true sense of belonging. It’s where we live, where we work, and where we’re grateful to call home.
